ROSI Background Music Software is designed to be a total solution to play background music in your business.  The range of uses is unlimited.

There are six zone players, each of which can be assigned to a separate sound card and routed to an area in your premisis (e.g. one for the bar, one for the restaurant, etc).  Each zone player runs a set list. A set list lets you pick attributes for music that you'd like to hear.

The system will choose music based on these attributes (e.g. 60s, classical, etc) but also uses our proprietary music scheduling algorithm to ensure good artist rotation, tempo matching etc. There is also the option to have exclusivity where a track can be limited to specific sets. Therefore the system is incredibly powerful at choosing music even when all the user does is give it a basic list of what type of music to play.

There is a schedule timer within the software and so each zone player can be made to start or stop at any given time on any given day of the week and to choose which set to play. Therefore each zone can change style and genre as often as you wish.

The system has a management system to allow music to be imported (from anywhere on a network), ripped from a CD or added to the library by a one button action from an update CD or DVD. This latter option also allows new playlists (sets) to be deployed and is very secure as using the optional database manager you can hold full databases for multiple sites, add music, burn a disc and it will only update the client site it was designed for. This allows the centralised management of multiple sites.

Once in the system, the music meta data can still be managed using the audio editor.

As can be seen from the screen shot, there is a waveform display which allows the setting of start and outro markers (these are set automatically on import but can be manually shifted). You can set day of week, time of day and seasonal restrictions on each piece of audio (e.g. with Christmas tracks). Tracks can also be time bombed- e.g. promotions on in shop systems.

Each piece of music can also have attributes set (see screenshot below).  Attributes need to be set per song.  The attributes help our scheduler to pick the best songs and put them in the right order.

And you can get a full history of time date and zone that each piece of audio has been played.
